Health because the fat in it is good and it has a lot of protein.
2 :
I think it depends on what each one has in it for example you can make Organic peanut butter in Whole foods :)
3 :
good source of protein. healthy food!!! but in case you are allergic,it may cause pimple yay.. good day.
4 :
It has healthy oils in it but like anything else it should be done in moderation and part of a well balance diet.

"Healthy" is only relative to what your body needs. peanut butter has a lot of fat in it, monosaturated and poly saturated fats commonly found in nuts and are considerd to be "healthy fats" and poly saturated fats have been -linked- to weight loss, peanut butter also has a high amount of protein. so it being healthy depends completly on weather your body neeeds more protein and fat, because to much protein can be bad on your kidneys. i hope this helps -Ben

I think it's a health food, but too much of it is bad! If your on a diet, you should have peanut butter 2x a week, to stay healthy :]

peanut butter.. one of my personal favorites. it is good.. packed with proteins! just too much of it is bad for you. well, if you eat too much of anything it is bad for you. the typical serving size is 2 tablespoons, and one serving size usually has 170-220 calories, depending on the brand.

if you buy the all natural kind, then technically it is healthy. but since it is so high in calories, i eat it as a treat, but i know that my healthy wont suffer from this treat, as it would if i would indulge in cake or pie. good luck(:

If you're having "natural" nut butter's it's a health food, if you're consuming the "creamy/ reduced/ regular and etc .." nut butter's than there unhealthier cu'z they have added sugar's (ie: fructose), salt's, etc .. So try "natural" peanut butter/ natural nut butter's. Best of luck! Stick to only a serving per day ~ 2TBSP (size of golf ball)

That is a very good question! Peanut butter can be very bad for you if you eat the Skippy or Jiff kind- which is high in sugar (high fructose corn syrup) and has tons of partially hydrogenated oils (which is so bad for you and your insides). But at the same time it does have protein in it, so if your going to eat it- eating this kind is okay once and a while- but I wound't eat it more than once a week. If your going to have a "treat" food you might as well make it something like ice cream or cookies. However, the natural kind of peanut butter that is just peanuts and salt is extremely, extremely good for you!! It is high in protein, all healthy fats, and has about 3 grams of fiber per serving. It is very good for you- a great way to get protein and healthy fats. It is good on apples, banana, celery sticks, carrot sticks (yes, amazing on them too!), fat free crackers, whole grain bread- and adding jelly is fine too. Jelly is okay even though it does have sugar it is a "healthy" treat. I know this is a detailed answer, I hope this helps!!

It is a great health food as part of a healthy nutrition plan. The word "diet" has so many negative connotations associated with it that I don't use it anymore. Peanut butter is a great source of protein and healthy saturated fats. With the right nutrition plan and exercise it can actually help you burn calories! But if you are living a sedentary lifestyle without eating the right foods, it can become a fat builder. Unfortunately our bodies do not choose between good and bad foods and any caloric intake in excess of what we burn each day pretty much converts to fat. Cheers
