Can I buy cayenne pepper in pill form at the health food store

Can I buy cayenne pepper in pill form at the health food store?
I take several pills in the morning after breakfast and before heading off to work. A multi, fish oil and garlic. Not for a diet but its all good for my health, skin and hair. I love cayenne pepper too but cant handle the heat. I am the wimp of all wimps when it comes to hot spicy stuff. Thank you in advance : )

Yes, you can buy cayenne pepper pills in the health food store. However, it can be more economical to make your own pills. The health food store, your local food co-op and some supermarkets that sell bulk foods will have gel capsulses. You can buy your own cayenne and fill your own gel capsules.

I get a lot of vitamins and herbs from this site... They cost a lot less than a health food store. http://www.puritan.com/

Are there any health food stores in for American travelers in Cancun

Are there any health food stores in for American travelers in Cancun?
Are there any stores that stock healthy grains as well as probiotic drink options in the Cancun area? My good friend is going on a vacation there in a couple of weeks and I just wanted to see if anyone can give me any advice on any healthy food stores he could visit while he's down there. Any help you could provide would be great. Thanks!!!

What food should I eat for lunch if I am working out at the gym? Any health food in NYC?or in a grocery store

What food should I eat for lunch if I am working out at the gym? Any health food in NYC?or in a grocery store.?
What should I eat for lunch if I live in the city. I really only see fast food everywhere... Is Subway a good choice of food?

Subway is good yes but only if you don't get the chips, cookies, or soda. Make sure your sandwich doesn't have cheese, mayo, or fattening salty meat like salami. Use wheat bread. Try getting turkey or chicken slices and load up on those veggies! Avoid the salt and oils. Its really easy to make a Subway sandwich unhealthy. In the grocery store skip the junk isles! Stay all natural. Things that come from the earth. Fruits, veggies, lean meat, oats, and grain. They will benefit you greatly and will boost your weight loss! Learn to cook healthy food so it actually taste good and not bitter. Good luck!

subway is actually not a healthy choice because of the carbs in all of the bread they use. Its surprisingly high in things like sodium, calories etc. I would try to eat homemade things, like fruit, veggies and simple proteins like peanut butter, eggs and of course meat. Eating the basic primitive foods will get you just as far as all of the health foods that are overpriced and overrated. Its also considerably cheaper. The more you work out, the more proteins you should eat especially if its strength training. I'm not saying you should eat more quantitively, just up the proteins and slightly lower the fruits and veggies. I'm also not saying you should entirely cut out dairy and wheat but minimize them. There are plenty of healthy choices around the city, you just need to look for them, and they definitely won't be in the national fast food chains that we see so much of

If I was to create a new Health Food what form do you think would sell best

If I was to create a new Health Food what form do you think would sell best?
Full Question: 1) If I was to create a new Health Food what form do you think would sell best (eg Health Bar, Milkshake, Lollies, Cereals...) ? 2) What would the Food do for the eater? The food would be targeted at teenagers Please don't copy the examples as they are no use to me. Thanks :)

I dont think teenagers have much of an interest in health foods. Maybe some kind of protein bar or shake for guys looking to beef up. I dont know how you could make healthy lollies, they would need to have some kind of benefit or taste REALLY good for teens to want them
2 :
Health Bar for long life.salad is also not bad and no lollies please.
3 :
EITHER HEALTH BAR OR CEREAL. i work in the food industry and right now health bars and cereal are selling. god are they selling. you can't even imagine how many people buy food. so many people. any how, I'm finished freaking out here. you might also want to try making a frozen health food, like pizza. I'm sure there are healthy toppings you can put on it, even pizza puffs. good luck. that will just be one more thing to put on the shelf's.
4 :
I think there are enough health bars and cereals. What we need is a snack food that is low in fat, calories, sodium, and carbs. Something high in fiber, but tasty. Some suggestions could be similar to thinly sliced carrot chips, or other vegetables packaged with a low cal, low carb dip. The fiber would offset the carbs. If you package it right, teens will buy anything. What the world needs is a healthy food that isn't full of crap and is easy to take with you or eat on the go.

Vegan restaurants and health food in West Palm Beach, Fl

Vegan restaurants and health food in West Palm Beach, Fl?

I am from Palm Beach, Health food store= Wholefood or Publix Greenwise (Yes in Palm Beach, we have our own Publix Greenwise store)! I don't know of any good vegan restaurant and I have been vegan for about 2 yrs.,,....
2 :
I don't know how good it is because I've never been there, but I keep hearing there's a restaurant that's interesting in Ft. Lauderdale called SubLime. http://www.sublimerestaurant.com I guess that's about an hour from you. Also, Pizza Fusion in Palm Beach Gardens offers a vegan cheese pizza with Follow Your Heart dairy-free mozzarella. Have a look at happycow.net and see if they have any listings for other places near you.
3 :
Check out this website, hopefully it will be helpful. I'm not sure how up to date is though. www.happycow.com
4 :
Watch how much vegetable oil is used in the vegan and vegetarian restaurants. Oils will break just about any diet due to calories and they also contribute to CHD. It's very difficult to eat properly even

what is the best joint health dog food

what is the best joint health dog food?
I have a bichon that has knee problems and I have talked to my vet a little bit about it. She told me to try joint health dog food. But, I'm not sure what is the best kind out there. I know I should just call my vet, but, I'm worried she'd just sell me what they have in the office and I know that it is really expensive.

Sounds like some kind of Science diet scam food thing to me. Your vet is getting kickbacks from Science Diet for recommending food like this. If you need to switch your dog's food to improve overall health, consider switching to a high-quality grain-free food. And it would be cheaper than anything Science Diet makes.
2 :
While quality food does absolutely contribute to good health, strong bones and healthy skin, it does not solve joint problems, and don't let anyone tell you that it does. Knee / bone or joint problems are a physical and structural ailment which requires either surgical intervention, or drug therapy or physio therapy. Food is not going to cure that. Like people food, quality dog food by the way will always cost more than low quality foods.
3 :
a good dog food helps with overall health (petfoodproject.com) however most dog foods do not contain enough glucosime to help that much it is better to just buy a supplement of glucosamine chondroitin http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+1448&aid=670 and an omega 3 and omega 6 can also help with inflammation.
4 :
I own a Pomeranian mix with a knee issue (luxating patella) and I fed EVO & Timberwolf. Also, to help with the joints my Vet recommended I start giving supplements that contain glucosamine. I suggest you first talk to your Veterinarian before you start giving any supplements: http://www.amazon.com/Dasuquin-Dogs-Under-60-Pound-150-Count/dp/B000MD2H1U
5 :
You, like me are concerned about vets and their motives. A large % of vets are more concerned with profits than the welfare of our dogs. I appreciated that you would not be too concerned with the expensence, if what the vet recommended was in your dogs best interests. Metacam and Rymadal are usually prescribed by vets for arthritis. Unfortunately both of these medications can cause internal bleeding and they horrify me; however at the onset of pain they give relief. My GSD was diagnosed with arthritis in her knees, she suffered from internal bleeding when she was prescribed Metacam, this was apparent when her stools became almost black. I investigated other meds on the internet and discovered Flexadin. It’s about £70 from the vets and £20 on the internet. It contains Glucosamine and Chondroitin which help enormously with pain and bone problems; however it also contains Devils Claw which also helps with pain. Later I accidentally discovered that Seraquin has other virtues because as well as the above stuff it also contains Turmeric, this is about £60 from the vets and £16 on the internet. It could take up to six weeks for either Flexadin or Saraquin to take effect. However if your dog has joint problems you should give it a go.It helped my dog to cope and I agree that some vets are just looking for profit. Edit. It is late at night and I could have misunderstood the question. Have I got hold of the wrong end of the stick, or have the other anserers misunderstood the question.

How can I get in shape without eating SO much health food

How can I get in shape without eating SO much health food?
I'm 13 years old, and I really want to get in better shape. But I can't eat a lot of healthy food. My mom refuses to by healthy food. She says it's too expensive. She makes healthy things for dinner but I have to have cereal for breakfast and just a sandwich for lunch. I can't go all out on the fruits a vegetables. So how can I get in shape?? All you fucking diet pill spammers will be reported

Check out youtube for good cardio exercises. Just be more active everyday and plan out how much you will eat so you don't overeat
2 :
eat less. not anorexia. but i eat junk and im really skinny. i just eat a little of it. like i'll eat one healthy meal(small) at dinner but i'll skip breakfast and eat like a handful of my favorite chips and a soda at lunch time :)
3 :
Do some chores, jog to the store, and buy yourself some potatoes.
4 :
what your doin right now is good dont worry so much about what to eat. You should worry about exercise. I eat fast food everyday but i also exercise everyday 2 hours 7 days a week and i have the body that ive always wanted without those crazy diets. just balance it and youll be fine
5 :
Watch your portion sizes... I have gone completely vegetarian for over a year, actually gained weight, 2 months back eating crap, ie fast food and barely any fruits and vegetables, I've lost 7 pounds pretty much doing nothing ALL because I watch how much I eat, don't eat the fried foods and drink lots of water instead of juice or sodas... all those contain are empty calories! Instead of kids cereals try Multi Grain Cheerios, Honey Bunches of Oats, or any of the Total products.
6 :
I don't eat healthy foods either, but I jog around the block 4 times a day, and do 10 pushups (2-3 times a day) and as much situps as I can do using the bottom of my bed. Easiest workout
7 :
Skipping breakfast is really the WRONG answer!!! Getting into shape is more than just diet. It's fitness. How "out of shape" are you? So many teens think they are out of shape when in fact, there is nothing wrong with them. Healthy food is really a great start, but because your mother is a lot like mine, you don't always have than option. So...one thing you can do is have the cereal for breakfast, that's fine. Most cereals aren't as bad as you think. If you can get mom to start buying Cheerios or corn flakes, rice crispies and that sort of thing, then that's an AWESOME start. You can even have cereal for 2 meals. Sandwiches are ok for lunch at school too...as long as you don't have a whole lot of fluff with your pbj, you'll be ok. One of the most important things to remember though is to stay active. Go for a nice long walk after dinner, shoot hoops with your friends, dance in your room, that sort of thing. Good luck...
8 :
Although your mom can't always buy the healthiest foods, there are little things that can help without advancing the cost of things. Have your mom buy a whole grain or healthy cereal with no added sugars or flour and fiber is a plus. What kind of bread are your sandwiches made with? If it is white, ask her to buy wheat bread instead. It is much better for you and way more nutritious; anything "white" or made with white flour isn't very good. The rest will be common sense... try not to eat things with a lot of sugar and fat such as cookies/ice cream or processed foods. Beyond that, exercise is your very best friend. Even if you can't have a perfectly healthy diet, staying active is the best way to keep you in shape. It builds muscle, which naturally speeds up your metabolism and helps you burn off fat and extra calories. Try to aim for at least 30 minutes a day, whether it's jogging or swimming or riding a bike.

I don't know if your a guy or a girl I think girl but Ill say how i got in shape as a guy. I was flabby and couldnt do 10 pushups less than a year ago. Now I have a 6-pack, can bench my body weight, do 60+ pushups, and 20+ pull ups. I'm 16 now started when i was 15. Honestly the easiest way to get in shape is to do a sport/work out with friends. Running gets you in shape and at most schools its a social sport so get some friends to do it with you. My diet consists of cereal, sandwiches, eggs, and other for dinner when dad cooks. Eggs are good for snacks or meals. Just scrambled in a pan with cheese and ham. Don't use slice cheese it tastes like crap. 60 calories an egg. 20 if you just use egg whites but that's a waste of food. Do be afraid to snack a little but i used to have a problem with binge eating. For things other than running do sit ups, crunches, and push ups. Do them on your knees if you cant do real push ups. I hope it helps.
