Can you get this in Health food stores

Can you get this in Health food stores?
Hi, is it possible to buy the Acai Optimum and the Acai Advanced Cleanse in a health food store, or do you have to buy it online? Thanks! And sharing any experience with either of these would be appreciated too! UGH. People, answer the question, don't give me stupid crap.

acai is bad for your health, don't use it.

Acai Berries are just another fruit. They have no proven medical benefits whatsoever. Pomegranates, Concord grapes, blueberries, and red wine all have far more antioxidants. They will NOT help you lose any significant amount of fat.

vegitarians in kentucky, where is a good health food store?
i used to love Down To Earth but i checked yellow pages and there is no Down To Earth here. does anybody know a good health food store not to far from erlanger or florence? please dont say GNC cuz thats not really food, thats pills haha the broswer kept pulling up GNC ^__^

Whole Foods is your best bet, looks like there are quite a few in Kentucky they have a huge selection of vegitarian and vegan foods

Healthy Alternatives on 18, by BCHS. They don't sell a lot of produce, but they've got some good stuff regardless. There's a new place on Mall Road called The Vitamin Shoppe. Haven't been in there, but it might be worth a try. Kroger's isn't actually a bad place to look. The Florence kroger doesn't have the best organic produce section, but the Union or Burlington one should have almost everything you need. If you're willing to drive 20 miles for groceries, there's a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market in Cinci, but be sure to bring along a cooler if you go.

When going to the health food store wanting what you want only to have the sales woman point out and suggest?
something else far more outrageously expensive substitute, making all these statements as to why it's so much better and being very persistent what are your thoughts of this situation? Do you ever get the instinct feeling most of these health food sales people don't really know what they're talking about and/ore just trying to sell the most expensive for their own pocketbooks? Would you ever take the advise of a sales woman in the health food section seriously if she was a regular smoker?

My uncle is a doctor and according to him, health food stores are a SCAM!!! HE has 3 models that are in their 60's who look like their 30 years old... and they cannot digest regular food, because they bult vitamin supplements, and artificial protein and artifical foods from the health food store to maintain their figure when they were young. Don't shop there... Go to a doctor and ask for advice if you really want to know. If your doctor refuses to give you casual advice for lack of time, hire an acupuncturist to stick needles in you and tell him you are paying him for his nutritional knowledge. That's how my uncle does his business.... His clients hire him for his medical expertise and not necessarily for his skills as an acupuncturist.

I find that many are into the "healthy image" and not really into true health... BTW... Yesterday,I was in the Vitamin Shoppe... The guy behind the register told me, "When you get to be my age.." in a bragging manner... I let him know that I was some years older than he and had to show him my ID to prove it... He screamed my age and then asked to know, "Lady exactly what are you eating, my girl and I will start eating that everyday..."... Health food does work, Dude...

Why do health food nuts always look horrendously sick

Why do health food nuts always look horrendously sick?
Sometimes I go to the health food store because I prefer organic chicken and milk, anyways the people shopping there and working there always look sick.. their hair seems to be falling out and their skin is always very pale and they just seem to have a dull look about them.. and they rarely seem to be in a cheerful mood. What's the deal?

My guess is the people you saw decided to eat more healthily because of their illness (not the other way around). If I were sick, I wouldn't be cramming my face with food that would make me feel worse.

maybe that's why they became a health food nut.

Obviously that is how you perceive them. How are they perceiving you? And does it really matter? You have your way about you and you do what you feel right dietarily and that is what counts. Maybe your doing something to make you healthier than them.

Many vegetarians and Vegans shop in health food stores. These are the folks looking at soy and wheat germ etc rather than organic eggs or milk. The folks that are low in B 12 and Taurine and often they do look sick because of their Animal Rights diet.

Not really, but kind of. Whole Foods is not really but kind of. They both have HF's there, but a true health foods store usually carries mostly VITAMINS and HERBS along with a smaller grocery section with grains, salads, frozen and fresh foods, etc.
