Is the yellow of an egg bad for you? An the white? if so please explain.

Eggs in general are high in protein, but the yellow of the egg is where all of the cholesterol and fat is. The yellow is also where the bulk of the calories reside. If you just eat the egg white, you get the protien benefits w/o the negative calories, fat and cholesterol.

I suggest you boil the eggs and eat all the white stuff because it is good for you and dump all the bad stuff because it is bad for you.

You can't say that it is bad, both are healthy and full of proten, but the Chicken Egg yolk contains: 55 calories & the white contains: 17 Calories
