I'm 2 months pregnant and over weight. what kind of health food should I eat

I'm 2 months pregnant and over weight. what kind of health food should I eat?
I heard that rew veggies have a lot of fiber and that you digest fat easier. Could this help me not gain too much weight? What else should I eat? And is it possible to burn fat while pregnant?

Just eat a healthy balanced diet. You don't want to lose an excessive amount of weight while pregnant. I would wait on dieting until after the baby is born. Plenty of fruits and veggies, and basic foods that are better for you would be great. Get a balanced nutritious diet for both yours and the babies sake. Good luck!!

keep your diet at 45-50 g of carbs per serving. watch your sugar intake like snaking on candy, chips, ice cream. keep on your protein.if you cant eat meat there is other ways to get your protien. You also need to make sure you eat breakfast lunch and dinner. dont skip meals, that is the worst thing you can do. if you follow this you keep your chances down for getting diabetes. Good luck and take care! remember I said your carb and sugar intake is the only ones you need to worry about! and remember you can not eat like the little girls on here! even though they might think other wise! Also remember alot of your responses on here is going to be from moms that have 1-2-3 kids and just feel that they know it all. but in all reality we are all different! Message me if you have any questions!!

Now is not the time to worry about your weight. Your pregnant and need an extra 300-500 calories a day for your baby. Eat healthy foods, but don't try to diet or to lose weight. You also shouldn't start exercising now if you haven't been before unless you get your doctors ok and let them know exactly what you plan on doing.

You should not aim to lose any weight while pregnant, although keeping your gain modest is fine. Fruits and vegetables should be a mainstay of any healthy diet. Fats are also essential while you are pregnant, so do not attempt an extremely low fat diet. Besides fruits and vegetables, try to incorporate whole grain foods (wheat bread, brown rice, etc.) There are LOTS of resources online about healthy pregnancy diets that are more detailed. Also, take your prenatal vitamin every day! Congratulations.

well if youre overweight just drink lots of water even if you weretn you still should esp when pregnant and eat a lot of fruit and vegetables try to avoid sweets and sodas and sugary juices have them sparingly same with fried foods and fast foods if you must get fast food try to order a small meal instead and drink 2 percent milk instead of whole milk and my sister in law who's 7 months pregnant and has had diabetes since she was a kid is obese and was advised to not gain more than 15 lbs so she has been eating really healthy since she first found out she was pregnant at 6 wks and also walks a mile a day and guess what shes only gained 10 lbs and her baby's due april 30th so exercising regularly will also help walking is great and safe exercise when youre pregnant but dont lift weights or run or other things if you didnt do that before you were pregnant

Any raw fruits and vegetables are great for you. Not just when your pregnant but after you have the baby continue eating them, as you will need energy. Also, 100% fruit juice in limited quantities and LOTS of water. As for burning fat while your pregnant...I only gained 5 pounds with my second child. But I was also never hungry so my body had no choice but to use some of my fat stores as fuel. Either way, it was unhealthy. Just try to eat smaller frequent meals through out your day and eat the fruits, vegetables, lean meats, salads, lots of water and a little fruit juice or V8 juice if you like it. Eating this way will help you to maintain a healthy weight gain and also help you loose the weight faster after the baby arrives. Try to stay active too. Walking has so many benefits for pregnant moms. It keeps your vascular system in shape, helps promote the healthy weight gain and even helps make labor and delivery easier. Good luck and congrats!

Just eat healthy. Don't worry so much about your weight problem right now..just think of things that are good to put into your body for the baby. You can always loose weight later. You only have 9 months to give your baby what it needs while it is inside you
