Should those families have to choose between health care and food or housing

Should those families have to choose between health care and food or housing?
what do you suggest for those that simply cannot afford insurance, those that don't have an extra $300 a month for health insurance?

There should be national health care at no cost, funded by a 10% consumption tax on all components of the GDP. Our annual health care expenditures is roughly 10% of GDP.

The parents should have finished college Got a good job before starting the family so they could afford that stuff in the first place. but seeing as how it is too late for that, then just get medicaid?? or if they don't qualify Don't go to the doctor, or yes, choose? I dont feel bad. There is help for the poor children and that is all that matters.

If people cannot afford health insurance, then they are probably eligible for local clinics, charity care at hospitals, and low cost prescriptions from the manufacturers for necessary meds. Because of this,, I would say that puts them in a position to be able to choose. I'd put housing at the top of the list since help is also available for food.

My state provides health care for those who cannot afford it. They also provide food and housing for those who can't afford it.

They should be eligible for a voucher to buy insurance from one of several commercial providers. This way, competition between providers will keep costs low and quality high, while the red tape necessary to receive the voucher will ensure that people who can afford insurance will not free-ride on the program
