How would the outcome of universal access to food differ in outcome to a universal health care system

How would the outcome of universal access to food differ in outcome to a universal health care system?
Suppose we (US) had government-mandated universal access to food. How would the outcome likely differ what is observed with health care systems of this type in other countries like Canada or Great Britain? What would be the opportunity cost of food stamps? Since the opportunity cost of a universal healthcare program is time spend waiting too see a doctor...

I have no objections to universal ******** as long as it is a charity backed program..... voluntary participation by people who care The problem with government supported or mandated *******.is multifaceted..... it usually creates greater problems .....not fewer problems The problem with most liberals is they only "see" what is in front of them..... they see the "problem".... they see "a solution".... they stop there..... they never seem to think about collateral damage potential.... the ramifications of their "solution" .... EXAMPLE: Welfare..... created for the best of reasons....to provide temporary help to those than are in temporary difficulty.....Whoopie Goldberg was on welfare once.... it did work for some people.... unfortunately it did NOT work for MILLIONS of others.... it turned into a dependent subculture..... a place where four and five generations were surviving..... a system where graft and corruption blossomed...... The government is the LAST place to look for solutions to problems...... the government has failed at.....rail roads.....the post office.... social security....medicaid.....medicare....... they even tried to run a whore house in Nevada and failed..... Government never does anything effectively, efficiently or economically The current health care plan MISSED more than half of the "at risk" people (18 million)....it will cost the government 1.3 trillion dollars.....and corporate America 94 billion dollars.....ALL of that money will come from YOU..... I could have solved the health care problem....covered ALL 32 million at risk Americans NOW not in 2014..... at no cost to the tax payer or the consumer..... with minimal government intrusion.... and without risking anyone else's health care ........ and the cost would be negligible.... go ahead ask me
