I love making a fresh fruit salad in the summer for dessert! Yummy fresh berries, bananas, apples, grapes, oranges and my very favorite... pineapple! I also like when I can make my breakfast at the house, instead of grabbing something like a granola bar... If I get to eat at home (mainly on the weekends), I'll make myself some eggs (with just pepper) a piece of my multi grain bread (yummy) with a piece of fruit and possibly a yogurt.

I like a great big bowl of homemade soup. I toss in a few noodles, then add some chicken breast or beef tips, a few potatoes, lots of carrots and celery, an onion and some minced garlic, a little thyme and sage, a bullion cube or two, and maybe a couple chopped tomatoes. MMmmmmm, very nutritious and tasty.

Stir fried cabbage with 1 scrambled egg using 1 spray of oil. I usually put a sprinkle of low fat mozzarella cheese and some salt and pepper on top. Contains about 300 calories but fills me up more than anything.

My favorite is a healthy breakfast. I eat a high fiber cereal (Kashi brand - Cinnamon Harvest), with low fat or fat free milk, along with 1/2 a grapefruit or an apple on the side.

Ooh, I love to snack on hummus with fresh red peppers cut up and mixed into it... best when eaten with pita bread or wheat crackers. My favorite healthy meal? Salmon and vegetables. Yummmm...

I don't know if this counts as "health food" exactly, but I really like hummus and baked pita chips. I think as long as the hummus doesn't have too much olive oil (which I think is good for you anyway) that it isn't that high in fat.

Oatmeal dry cereal, Cheerios, fruit, Fat Free Pudding, Do not drink diet soda pop, drink water. That will help you lose weight.

for lunch i like to make veggie sandwiches - I usually use wheat or whole grain bread, mustard, grated cheddar and mozarella cheese, sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers, and some people like advocado. For the side I have shredded carrot salad with vinegarette dressing, which is shredded carrots, chopped golden apples, and raisins. Of course, to spoil myself I always need a peanut butter cookie to finish. This lunch is filling and healthy - I don't get that 3pm let down at the office from it either.

My favourite health food is probably banana. My favourite healthy meal is what I usually have for breakfast: 2 to 3 small pieces of fruit cut up and topped with plain low fat yoghurt and a sprinkling of homemade muesli. It makes it soo much easier to get up in the morning when I have that to look foward to. Other things you can try: - a sandwich with cucumber, beetroot and lettuce (or your favourite salad veggies) and wholemeal bread - pita bread with salady stuff inside and a little low fat grated cheese or lean meat if you like - dried fruit & raw nuts to snack on - fresh veggie soup - just make sure it doesn't have too many additives if you're buying it - sushi - veggies on brown rice - homemade smoothie made with your fave fruits, banana and plain yoghurt Oh and a really nice snack I like to have is a piece of wholemeal/wholegrain toast with sliced banana on top, and then sprinkled with a little cinnamon. Mmmm.

Instant oatmeal packets cooked with unsweetened applesauce instead of water. Rice cakes with a little peanut butter or applesauce and cinnamon. Whole grain mini bagels (they're perfect portion size for dieting. I make chili by sauteing onions, green peppers, and frozen corn until it starts to brown, then I stir in 2 tbsp lime juice, some chili powder, black beans, and two cans of chili tomatoes. Sometimes I add crumbled up boca burgers or avocado on top. Its low fat but really filling. Yoplait light yogurts are so yummy and only 100 calories (I love pineapple upside down cake and boston cream pie flavors). Cutting wheat pita bread into wedges, spraying it with olive oil cooking spray and sprinkling with spices (garlic, rosemary, chili powder, or cinnamon are good), then baking them in a 350 degree over for 8-10 minutes makes yummy chips to dip into regular or fruit salsa
